Nuby Sea Scooper Review

My daughter enjoys her bath time. She loves playing with all her bath toys and some her favorite ones are from Nuby. But I was really struggling keeping all toys clean and organized after bath. So when I got the chance to review Nuby Sea Scooper, I was really excited.

    The toy is easy to install to suction hook. The Nuby Whale Pail keeps bath time toys neatly on bathroom wall.

        The Nuby Sea Scooper not only makes bath time fun but also makes cleaning quick and easy. My daughter loves it so much that she puts all her toys back inside it after her bath.

 She enjoys scooping all her toys into the whale tummy. I am quite impressed with the size of the sea scooper, its big enough to store all her bath toys. The special built-in drain holes allow excess water to easily drain away from toys and quickly air dry. This is very important since bath toys easily catch mould if not dried properly.
       I would only request Nuby to get more colors and designs in it. I would love to see it in my daughter's favorite pink color :)

Fenugreek Tomato Rice ( Methi tamatar pulao)

Fenugreek Tomato Rice

Ingredients:

• 1/4th onion- chopped
• 1 non pulpy tomato cut into pcs
• 1/2 inch ginger sliced
• 1 bunch fenugreek stalks removed, cut into pcs (washed)
• 1 cup basmati rice washed and soaked
• cumin seeds (1/2 tsp)
• 1 tbsp ghee
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 tsp coriander powder
• 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
• salt according to taste

Procedure:

• In a pan add 1 tsp ghee and then rice and water. Cook rice till it almost done (a min less).
• In parallel take another wide pan heat ghee, add bay leaf, cumin seeds and then onions, once onions are translucent brown then you can add in tomatoes. Saute for a min or two.
• In a separate pan, place the washed fenugreek leaves. Sprinkle salt and let it be there. Then after a minute, squeeze out all water from leaves and then wash and drain. This way it removes all bitterness out of fenugreek.
• Once tomatoes are little soft add in coriander powder, turmeric. Then add fenugreek and saute till it turns soft and is almost done
•  Now add in the almost cook rice and garam masala and give it a good mix. Cover pan and cook till rice is almost done on low flame.
• Enjoy the yummy n healthy rice along with yogurt or raita.

   I had tried a similar bottle brush in the past. Even though it looked similar and cost even more, but it needed an extra suctionless base for it to stand.  Also I had to pour soap inside each bottle before I could clean it which was time consuming.
   This Nuby Easy Clean Soap Dispensing Bottle Brush features a suction base to help keep the brush upright and away from germs. Unlike the similar products in market this is much better. This has suction and I don't have to worry about finding its base every time.

The soft textured handle ensures a comfortable grip. I use it to even wash sippy cups and it works great.

  This is by far my favorite bottle brush and I am going to buy it in future to even wash water bottles once we are done with sippy cups and bottles.

Nuby Squid Squirter Review

Thanks to Nuby that I got a chance to try another great bath toy with my baby girl.  End of summer is not only hard on us but more on kids too. They miss all the outdoor water fun and long hours at the pool. So, I am always on lookout for good quality bath toys that my daughter can play with.

       She absolutely loved the Nuby squid squirter. It took her few trials but she learnt how to work it pretty fast.  Hold the Squid under water and pull the handle back until the chamber is filled with water. Then push down on the handle and watch the water squirt everywhere. The push and squirt action will keep your children laughing and entertained while playing in bath tub.

I am always impressed with quality of toys when it comes to Nuby. They make sure its both safe and fun. The toy is not only colorful but also BPA free. Parents beware, this will most probably be aimed in your direction.
  Recommended for ages 18 months and above.
