Mushroom paneer/tofu biryani

I love eating rice once in a while. But to make it healthy and add in some protein or fiber, this dish is not only perfect but delicious too.

Ingredients ( makes for 2 ):

• 20-24 pcs of cubed paneer/tofu
• 10-12 mushrooms (washed, sliced and stem removed)
• 1 cup of frozen peas and carrot
• 1/2 onion sliced
• 1 tsp diced ginger
• 1 tsp diced garlic
•  Cilantro (for garnishing)
• few pcs of capsicum (optional)
• ghee for cooking
•  1 bowl of washed and soaked rice  (soak a minm half hr)
• salt acc. to taste

Recipe:

• Slice washed mushrooms. Slice onions, ginger and garlic. On a separate pan, fry pcs of paneer evenly and keep separate.

• In a pan, heat ghee, add onions, ginger and garlic. Then add in peas and carrots.

• After a minute of stirring, add in mushrooms. Keep frying till its little soft. You can add in few pcs of capsicum for an extra zing.

• Now add in rice and at least 4 bowls of water. Add salt and get a boil. Now simmer and cover pan. You can add in more water if needed to get rice ready.

• Once the rice is ready. garnish it with cilantro and fried paneer.

• This taste awesome with some yogurt or vegetable raita. Lets not forget pickles ;)

Nûby™ Splash n' Catch™ Bathtime Fishing Set Review

When Annika was a baby, I had a checklist before I could turn on the tap for her bath. I would gather all supplies and try to make it as easy and quick as possible. Now bath time is a total different story and the checklist start with Bath toys. My daughter would not start taking her bath till she has gathered them all. Thanks to Nuby and all wonderful bath toys they have, it just makes bath time not only easy but lot more fun for babies.

Nuby Booster Seat Review

My daughter is 23 months old and she sometimes wants to sit around and do her artwork or read a story book. I used to put her in her high chair and it used to work for eating, drawing, snacking and all sort of things. But now she is a toddler who wants to sit on a booster seat and sit with me on our dining table. So when I got the chance to review Nuby Booster seat, I knew it would be perfect.

 

 

   My daughter has been carrying her seat all around the house as you can see from the pictures. She has few musical toys that she plays with, for which she has been using the booster seat on floor.  The seat can attach to your dining chair with safety straps. It also comes with child restraining straps.
   I love how this booster seat can both be used as a booster seat or a floor chair. This is so perfect for transitioning my little girl.

   I am so impressed with the quality of this booster seat. Its safe, durable and sturdy. It features a wide sturdy base and subtle contours that are safe and stylish. It can hold up to 65 lbs!  The seat can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry with a soft cloth.
